12 月 2 日，支付企业 Square 在社交媒体上发文表示，为了更好的代表 Square 对去中心化的支持，以及对未来的相关愿景，Square 将更名为「Block」，股票代码依旧为 SQ。此外，由 Square 创始人 Jack Dorsey 创办的比特币相关网站 Square Crypto 也已更名为「Spiral」。
