# Jealousy

    Jealousy can take on a painful connotation if it is caused not by real reasons, but by imaginary ones. If a person suffers from delusions of jealousy, then, as a rule, he cannot objectively assess his condition and understand that he invents reasons for jealousy himself. The so-called defense mechanism is triggered - projection, which can underlie both delusions of jealousy and paranoid delusions (delusions of persecution).
