Among the victims was 21-year-old delivery driver Affan Kurniawan, who was run over and killed by an armored police vehicle while on duty. This tragic moment shocked the world. For us, it was not just a news story, but the very instant when “fairness” turned from an abstract idea into a visceral human reality.

From a political economy perspective, this was no coincidence:

• On one hand, it reflects the contradiction between income distribution and labor protection. Workers under outsourcing and the gig economy lack safety nets and remain extremely vulnerable.

• On the other, it is the confrontation between power and civil rights. When checks and balances are absent, unfairness moves from abstract structures to direct harm on individuals.

That is why Fair3 believes: the experiment of fairness on-chain and the injustices in real society share the same logic. Black-box token issuance and manipulation by insiders mirror the same dynamics as unfair resource distribution. The powerlessness of retail investors in markets reflects the same structure as the powerlessness of workers on the streets.

In this context, Fair3’s long-time supporter and investor Ann, together with UnicornVerse, stood up immediately and chose to make donations to the families of the victims.

This act of giving is not merely financial support—it represents solidarity:
