# Czardas

    Traditional Hungarian folk dance. The name comes from the Hungarian word charda (Hungarian csárda) - “tavern”, “tavern”, “inn”. Csardas is danced by men and women. Women wear traditional wide skirts, usually bright red, which take on a distinctive shape as they whirl.
