One of the most effective ways to reverse-engineer complex problems and unleash creative potential is to use first-principles thinking. The aim behind reasoning from first principles is to break down complex issues into their most fundamental components and then rebuild them from the ground up. It’s one of the most effective techniques to develop independent thinking, unleash your creative potential, and shift from linear to non-linear outcomes.
First Principles Thinking is why I have set out on the journey to learn how to program crypto. On the one hand, it’s easy to buy crypto, trade crypto and access DeFi, not to mention seeing other people’s gains and expert insights on the next big coin. However, to truly understand it, I have to go back to the start—the code. The reason why I got interested in crypto at the beginning is because of the technology. I realised that reading about technology whitepapers was not giving me a deep enough understanding of the challenges. Or an understanding of the structure of the technology. There are so many coins these days, and the difference between them is getting harder and harder to understand.
This journey will be interesting for me. Wish me luck and knowledge.
