---

Beside the tranquil river’s gentle flow,

An ancient willow stands with grace aglow.

Its branches sweep the water, soft and low,

Whispering tales of times from long ago.

A traveler paused beneath its shaded rest,

And heard the rustling leaves recount their quest—

Of lovers’ vows beneath the moon’s soft crest,

And weary hearts who found this haven blessed.

The wind entwined with stories, old and deep,

Carved secrets that the willow vowed to keep.

Each ripple on the water seemed to leap

With echoes from a past both wide and steep.

Now twilight paints the sky in hues of gold,

As new generations come, as tales are told.

The willow’s wisdom never grows too old—

A living chronicle in green and gold.
