Coinbase is acquiring a minority stake in Circle, USDC stablecoin operator Coinbase is increasing its support for stablecoins with an investment in Circle. The companies are also assigning full control of $USDC issuance and governance to Circle while disbanding Centre Consortium, their joint organization founded to manage the stablecoin. Moreover, six new blockchains will integrate with $USDC, taking the total to fifteen. Though not identified, Polkadot, Near, Optimism and Cosmos are chains Circle has said it planned to add in 2023.Binance Labs has invested in Delphinus Lab, an open-source zkWASM virtual machine Binance Labs has committed to investing in Delphinus Lab, an infrastructure provider in the zkWASM space. The funds will be utilized for the ongoing development of Delphinus Lab's zkWASM-based application rollup platform, zkWASM Hub, which provides automated proving and batching services for Web3 application development. Delphinus Lab aims to grow the ecosystem of Web3 DApps through a dedicated application-specific rollup service built on top of its novel zkWASM implementation.
