[Table 5](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2214635022001071#tbl5) presents our dataset’s most contributive crypto investor behavior studies journals. [Finance](https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/economics-econometrics-and-finance/finance) Research Letters is the most-cited journal with 1185 citations and the journal with the most published articles (21), followed by _Economic Letters_ with 1125 citations and _Applied Economics_ with 247 citations. However, the journal with the highest ratio of citations per publication is the _Economic Letters_.

[Fig. 4](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2214635022001071#fig4) presents the analysis of the most contributive research areas, and as expected, Finance is the research area with more contributions, followed by the economic area. However, this analysis reveals that other unsuspected areas of knowledge have contributed to a better understanding of crypto investor behavior, such as Innovation, Marketing, and Accounting.

Regarding normalized citations, [Fig. 5](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2214635022001071#fig5) shows that _Finance Research Letters_ was the most cited journal in 2020. _Economic Letters_ and _Applied Economics_ were the most cited journals in 2018. The _Review of Behavioral Finance, European Journal of Finance,_ and [_Economic Modeling_](https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/economics-econometrics-and-finance/economic-model-construction) are the most cited journals that contributed to our study in 2021.
