Beneath the moon’s soft silver gleam,
An ancient pine shares secret dreams.
Its needles trace the stars above,
While humming tales of timeless love.
A traveler rests against its bark,
Hears whispers fading into dark.
“The world spins fast, yet roots hold deep
Where memories and promises sleep.”
Two centuries of storms have passed,
This sentinel of shadows cast.
Each ring contains a year’s refrain-
Both moments lost and joys retained.
Tonight the wind sings through its boughs
Of winter frost and spring’s new vows,
Reminding all who pause to hear:
Time’s passage makes life doubly dear.
