**\*\***[Zerion](https://zerion.io/)**\*\*Introduction**

[Zerion](https://zerion.io/) is a universal interface that allows users to purchase, track, and manage DeFi assets. The project simplifies the investment model and the transfer of cryptocurrencies, since everything is in one accessible and non-custodial space.

Zerion supports all known and commonly used EVM networks, such as: Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, BSC and others.

**Investments:**

*   In December 2019, the project held a $2 million Seed-Round. The round was led by Placeholder, Blockchain.com Ventures, ESO Fund;
    
*   In June 2021, the project held a funding round, in which the amount and participants in the round were not disclosed;
    
*   In July 2021, a Series A round was held in the amount of $8.2 million. The following took part in this round: Wosaic, Placeholder, DCG, Blockchain.com, Lightspeed, Blockchain Capital;
    
*   In August 2022, the project held a [Venture Round](https://www.crunchbase.com/funding_round/zerion-series-unknown--172bf4d9) in which it raised $10.5 million. Round participants were not disclosed;
    
*   In October 2022, another [Series B](https://www.theblock.co/post/176187/wintermute-ventures-leads-zerions-12-million-raise-to-shake-up-crypto-wallets) round was held in the amount of $12.3 million. The following participants took part in this round: Wintermute, Wosaic, Coinbase Venture, Alchemy, Placeholder.
    
    **Thoughts:**
    
    The project has attracted impressive funding and has attracted a fairly large user base over the fairly decent time it's been public. In an interview a year ago, the founder of the project hinted at plans to retrodrop their future token to users who actively use products from Zerion.
    
    We do not know whether their plans have changed during this time, but participating in their activities and using the product will definitely be worth the trouble, since the products are convenient and of really high quality. In the instructions below, we will explain what needs to be done in the protocol in order to qualify for possible rewards from the project in the future:
    

**How to participate?**

\*\* 1.Visiting the website\*\*

*   Follow this [link](https://app.zerion.io/connect-wallet);
    
*   Connect your wallet, you can use MetaMask, or you can install the Zerion wallet on a mobile device ([IOS](https://link.zerion.io/ijJTNDsg8sb), [Android](https://link.zerion.io/1VkY2CBg8sb)) and connect that.

**2.Using the bridge**

*   Switch to the “[Bridge](https://app.zerion.io/bridge)” tab;
    
*   Choose the networks for the transfer (_I recommend using Ethereum and make a couple transfers to or from it_);
    
*   Enter the amount of tokens;
    
*   Click “Send”.

**3.Making swaps**

*   Switch to the “[Swap](https://app.zerion.io/swap)" tab;
    
*   Choose the network for the swap;
    
*   Choose a token pair swap (_I recommend making a couple of swaps on Ethereum_);
    
*   Enter the amount of tokens;
    
*   Click “Swap”.

**4.Sending tokens**

*   Switch to the “Send” tab;
    
*   Choose the “Token” section;
    
*   Choose the network to make a transfer in;
    
*   Enter the destination address, a friend's/an aquaintance's or your own (but not the one you're using to farm the drop);
    
*   Enter the amount of tokens and choose the token;
    
*   Click “Send”.

**5.Using DeFi through the protocol**

*   Switch to the “[Explore](https://app.zerion.io/explore)” tab;
    
*   Choose a DeFi-aggregator and click on it;

*   Choose the “Buy” tab;
    
*   Choose the network;
    
*   Choose the asset to sell and enter the amount of tokens;
    
*   Click “Buy”.

*   A successful purchase.

**6.Getting roles**

*   Visit [guild.xyz](https://guild.xyz/zerion);
    
*   Click “Pay”;

*   Purchase the role for 3$ on Polygon (You'll have to decide for yourself if you want to spend the 3$ for the role, DYOR).
    
*   Click “Approve USDC & Pay”.

*   Done;
    
*   Click “Mint Poap”.
