10月17日一个未知矿工成功掌握了Bitcoinsv（Bitcoin Satoshi’s Vision）区块链的大部分算力，捕获了超过80%的算力。今天，未知矿工的算力控制了Bitcoinsv约54%的算力。 在过去的7天内，未知的矿工算力捕获了64%的Bitcoinsv链，该矿工通过挖掘空区块来控制该项目，空的区块使链有时无用。 此前10月17日报道，The Bitcoin Association要求加密货币交易所及矿工阻止打包空块的BSV矿工。
