IMPORTANT Yap points are NOT designed to be easy to earn
From Kaito FAQ
**How do I earn Yap points?**Earning Yaps is all about real, high-quality, and relevant participation in crypto discussions; this means that Yaps are awarded through a blend of the following:
Crypto relevance
Real, reputation-weighted engagement
Insightful, original & focused discussions (quality > quantity)
all eligible crypto-related discussions count and no particular projects or topics are being overweighted
Does Kaito use a spam filter?
Yes, Kaito extensively leverages LLM to exclude low-effort content including spams
Why do I have 0 yaps?
If you are not earning Yaps despite your X activity, it could be attributed to one or more of the following reasons:
We assess a reputation-weighted impact rather than raw impressions or engagements, so if a tweet's cumulative eligible social engagements do not meet a certain threshold, points may not be awarded
Your content may not have been scored as sufficiently insightful or original by our LLM-based evaluation
Simply spamming buzzwords without genuine context or depth won’t register as relevant
Posts from yapers
Being a reply guy , I doubled my yaps in 24 hours .
Here are stuffs I did in 24 hours :
• Spent whole day literally whole day just by replying to posts . •Published two post that didn’t performed well . I don’t think it earned yap .
•Stayed consistent with engaging replies, even on small posts. Replied to every single comments .
•Replied early to trending posts for more visibility.
•Added value to discussions instead of just random comments. ———————————————————
Conclusion Being a reply guy is time consuming process but doubling my YAPs in 24 hours proves it works . So , as a small user, it’s tough to get noticed on twitter it means your post won’t get attention . Being a reply guy it works best for small users like me .
I earned 420 YAP, below I will share some more of my observations that will help you earn points in @_kaitoai
If you create content for YAPs farming, then in my opinion it is best to write more informative posts. If you write small posts in one sentence, then you are unlikely to earn points, these are my observations.
Also, from my observations, huge posts are better than Twitter threads and articles. In threads you have a bunch of small posts, which is no longer suitable, and articles receive less attention from Twitter itself, so I try to write only large posts.
You can write about any topics related to crypto: AI / Gaming / DeFi / your favorite project and etc. From my account you can tell that I only write about Eclipse / Kaito and a little about Cambria
I've seen a lot of people writing interesting big articles about AI and getting a lot of attention and YAPs, maybe it's worth checking out. As much as I don't like the AI hype, it's worth taking advantage of.
tips for @_kaitoai yappers
i earned over 65 yaps today with a small account (~350 followers, ~15 smart followers), ranking 49th in Markets and 15th in Emerging Yapper.
here are some small tips for u:
create valuable contents and provide insights to people
share your thoughts on topics you’re passionate about (for me, it's DeFi, DeFAI)
engage with people who gives great insights like
interact with accounts that generate a lot of Yaps relative to their size like
that's everything!
some observations for earnings yaps:
kaito doesn't have access to any information that is private on twitter, i.e. likes & bookmarks
only thing that kaito can verify is who retweeted and who replied
kaito has a quality index on every registered crypto twitter account and its byproduct, the "smart followers" list
when processing data, it makes sense for kaito to not count likes and bookmarks towards yaps because they can't verify if activity is real or botted
therefore, likes and bookmarks on tweets don't matter for earning yaps - only replies and RTs/QRTs matter
the more replies/retweets you get from accounts that rank high on the quality index (or from "smart followers"), the more yaps you earn
it also makes sense for kaito to ignore accounts low on the quality index because they're indistinguishable from botted activity
twitter on the other hand takes all of these factors into account, especially bookmarks
conclusion: a tweet optimized for twitter reach might not necessarily earn yaps, and vice versa
examples of tweets that earn lots of yaps: personal announcements (everybody drops a congrats, you get yaps from the smart followers), controversial tweets (especially if they summon smart followers in the replies), etc
Interacting with Smart Accounts You can earn Yaps by interacting with smart accounts not only on Kaito but also by discussing any crypto related topic with them. It doesn’t matter if smart accounts don’t follow you the key is to get engagement from smart accounts. Have genuine conversations with smart accounts. Avoid making pointless comments just to earn Yaps. Focus on real discussions and exchanging ideas.
From CharcoYou have to have real people engage w your tweets, it’s reputation weighted
