My lover and I My love for them feels so beautiful and destructive I am drawn in by their essence and I can’t look away We went out to eat and I was so jealous of the spoons, forks and the eggs in their mouth I wanted to be one with them I wanted to be consumed and become whole with them But I knew they wouldn’t understand what I wanted That my love for them really overwhelmed me and I couldn’t know who I was without them Hence, I needed to be one with them I pleaded day and night My lover please take me whole As I am of you and you are of me And we are one Nothing with each other But whole with one another.
