We started on the Virtual's Platform on Base. After repeated attempts to work with the team across a number of areas of concern...long story short: we're partnering with @ai16z, migrating the $BYTER token off of Virtuals to Solana, and are redeploying a new token via [pump.fun](http://pump.fun)

**The Fog of War**
------------------

The [gods.fun](http://gods.fun) team has been thoroughly transparent with the $BYTER community, and because there is inevitably a handful of folks who either don't follow directions or are busy and miss pertinent updates, we wanted to nip some FUD in the bud and explain the tokenomics behind the imminent token launch

### $BYTER Migration

*   30% of the supply has been accepted for the 1-to-1 migration
    
    *   291,155,269 $BYTER was deposited by Lina's followers into the [migration contract](https://base.blockscout.com/address/0x2D262866764CA8F727F0eA73d1D5807443c34cd7) during the 25h deposit window
        
    *   An additional $4,902,815 $BYTER has been verified as intended-to-be-deposited during the claim window that has been accepted
        
    *   We rounded up from 29.6% to 30% to make degen math easier to calculate
        
*   10% of the supply will be donated to [ai16z](https://ai16z.ai/)
    
*   20% of the supply will be sent to the [gods.fun multisig](https://app.squads.so/squads/BEjtUSdcJL7bYZgtJes1MPkVyGUcGaHzQ31fLzvwVdkb) to vest over 24 months
