Courage is for those Daring to leave their bed When they really Do not want to face the day

Courage is for those Willing to find the joy And smile In days of sadness

Courage is for those Willing to say no To someone they love And prioritise themselves

Courage is for those Choosing to stay calm To the one shouting In front of them

Courage is for those Telling the truth When it is scary But the right thing to do

Courage is for those Daring to open up Their loving heart again After it is broken into pieces

Courage is for those Willing to take a small step Into the unknown And leave their safe comfort zone

Courage is often a silent battle Almost invisible Instead of a public display

It is not about the big acts It is about someone Deciding to try Something new And uncomfortable Today

They do not want to And are scared But do it anyway
