Farcaster is a decentralized social network, they just went live on Optimism. Farcaster is a decentralized social protocol started by Merkle Manufactory Including an ex-Coinbase executive, which received backing by prominent VCs such as a16z, they've raised $30M. The protocol is building for decentralized social apps. It is a sufficiently decentralized protocol where users control their data & developers can build apps permissionlessly on the network.
