12月9日，哈萨克斯坦央行行长Erbolat Dossayev宣布，哈萨克斯坦国家银行已经完成了该国CBDC数字坚戈平台的原型。Dossayev说，央行现在正准备在12月15日公布数字货币测试和CBDC试点项目的初步结果。他指出，试点涉及当地金融公司和一些国际合作伙伴。尽管CBDC测试取得了积极进展，但哈萨克斯坦尚未决定是否要推出本国货币的数字版本。据Dossayev称，哈萨克斯坦央行预计将在2022年12月做出这一决定。
