12月30日消息，墨西哥政府总统府的官方账户宣布，墨西哥央行已计划在2024年前发行数字货币（CBDC）。墨西哥央行表示：“这些新技术和下一代支付基础设施极为重要，是推进该国金融包容性的极具价值的选择。”
