**Introduction to Engram Network**

Engram Network is a blockchain protocol made for real-world smart contracts. Right now, we’re focused on the Testnet Program to ensure the chain is safe and reliable.

A testnet chain is like a practice blockchain for testing and developing apps without using real tokens. It’s a way to make sure everything works smoothly before going live. We’re all about inclusiveness, so we’re organizing collaborative testnet events where users can test the network, try out different features, and see how everything works together!

As for Engram Tokio, the name comes from neuron terms (Engram) and the Rust programming language’s software library (Tokio). Since the Engram Chain is built with Golang and Rust, we named the testnet chain the Engram Tokio Chain.
