# Guide for Gitcoin Grants Round 15

GR15 OVERVIEW
-------------

September 7th, 2022 - September 22nd, 2022

*   Up to $1m in matching funds in the main round
    
*   $1.3m+ in matching funds across 13 ecosystem rounds
    
*   At least $900k in matching funds across 4 cause rounds – Climate Solutions, Advocacy, DeSci, & DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion)
    

GETTING STARTED
---------------

1.  **Sign in with Github account.** Don't have one? Please visit [https://gitcoin.com](https://gitcoin.com)
    
2.  **Maximize the trust bonus.** Verified users have up to 150% of their donation amount count towards the match fund algorithm. Unverified users — only 50%. Maximize your match by verifying with identity partners. You can do the verification on Gitcoin Passport and submit the results on your Gitcoin Profile.
    
3.  **Find a grant you are interested in.** Let's start by contributing to your favorite projects! Find them on [https://gitcoin.co/grants](https://gitcoin.co/grants). If you find a grant you are interested in, you can click the Add to Cart button on the right side of the page to add the grant to your cart.
    
4.  **Checkout** Enter the check out by the cart button at the right top corner of the website, choose your desired amount and currency as well. In Grants Rounds (GRs), your donation can match extra funds from the Matching Pool. The amount your donation matches will depend on your trust bonus. For example, there is a $1 contribution that can match an extra $10.83 DAI from the pool, the project will receive $11.83 in total from your $1 contribution!
