The year was more or less complicated for most of the NFTs, the appeal and the active people either on Twitter or in volume of exchange has dropped quite a bit. This summer I realised that a lot of people are mixing everything up and that the race for gm, for commitment, for hype has created projects and groups that are completely hollow, conducive to all kinds of Pump&Dump and cruel to the other projects that are slowly being built. And that's Sartoshi, for creating such a simple , although strong and fun concept/art/brand with the mfers. That showed me how far a project can go just based on a good idea.** \*\*\*Fair enough , now how did you get the idea of BLK ? **\-The concept idea was born this summer during my 4 weeks break , I think it was a couple of different trends in my head that melted together** **:** **_Ski Masks in fashion + Anonymity in the NFT Space_** **I think the word game blklavas is the key to make people remember it actually (a strong, edgy and clear name)** \*\*\*Okey , last one , I know your talents, why did you choose pixelated jpegs ? **\-We actually did three different art styles with Blklavas as concept to start with. Where the pixel art expressed what we were looking for.** **In some how in the end result, the different blklavas express a story and personality, which was important to us. And we think pixel art will be a long term art style in the web3 and NFT space.** \*\*\*Fire , a last word ? **\-I can only thank the community for what the project have evolved to , It's their organic vibe that has created that , with all the “gang gang” and having fun .** **I really love doin what we have started here. But if you take maybe 10 or 15 minutes of your time to look at the **diversity of the collection** and all the **winks that Awer slipped** in with **different strokes**, this little collection of 5090 BLKlavas really stands out ![](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/d35d92e4765c66be3557f1f3de6517cebf91815a84159b4619bea8cf4b0fe643.png) I didn't tell you the best! In addition to being already a super clean collection aesthetically and to have already a multitude of different original traits, this project is evolving . Every week or month, Upgrades are proposed and different types of activities allow to win them ! **Yeah , you read it right!** BLKlavas are **Dynamic NFTs** with weekly upgrades . With a little luck or just with active participation in the life of the project , you can evolve / change **the visual** and therefore **the rarity** of your BLK Whether you hold 50 or 1 is the same, Whether you buy 2 or 10 is the same ! The team **rewards randomly** buyers during **Sweep Contest Events** but also and above all rewards simply those who make the project live all over the Web3. And frankly it works, I will not quote all the names here, It's nice to see a lot of people getting active and vibrating around a small project The space of yesterday is a good example. Congratulations to the Holder who has organized this event. While we were in the Space, the team released a surprise upgrade! This is why I have my eyes on this project instead of a multitude of other pixelated projects ! But not only ! Pretty cool, after two months to be already at **30% of Unique holders** with **1517 wallets** for 5K NFTs But the distribution of holders is really more an interesting metric! 34% have **only one BLK** and 54% **two or three** ! ![](https://storage.googleapis.com/papyrus_images/08d1ca4309eb038a5255da8c32e7b936d963c7594a7dcd36994fe3837bddf7c8.png) This partly explains the low number of **NFTs listed**, **11%** for a small project with a FP like that is pretty rare.
