# Hundred Finance Hacked, Losing $7 Million

Hundred Finance, a compound fork project on the Gnosis chain, was hacked and lost $7 million. The root cause seems to be for the attacker to donate 200 WBTC to increase the rate of hWBTC so that even a small amount (2 wei) of hWBTC can basically drain the current loan pool.
