# Your Mind Has an Algorithm Too

Energetic grids, egregores, fields of awareness, hive mind, tulpas, collective unconsciousness, belief systems, frequencies…

The name is not important, but knowing they exist is.

Whether you come from deep within the energetic realm of spiritual awakening, or you are the atheist who won’t even entertain an alternate conversation, you are subject to the vibrational field around you.

Every idea, thought and belief holds a vibration. Neural activity produces real measurable electrical and electromagnetic oscillations. So when neurons fire, ionic currents create rhythmic electrical patterns which can be recorded. And in esoteric terms, we know that everything has a frequency.

To change the vibration of who we are we can look at the biological and physical constructs or we can understand more about the subtle energy layers. And I am using both concepts, to show you that it doesn’t matter what you believe in, it still exists.

If we look at this chart that AI created, (purposely ironic) you can kind of understand where the similarities lie and how we can perceive the concept based on our own personal point of view.

Now that we all agree at least in some way, why do we need to know more about it?

#### **Because it is the only thing that you need to be aware of as it affects all parts of your life.**

That sounds dramatic, and that’s the attitude that I want to bring to it. Because once you see this, you can change everything with nothing more than a new awareness.

And instead of listening to me talking you into believing something, I’ll share with you something that I lived instead.

Using a nice and charged subject, AI.

When I first started hearing about AI years ago, I was so excited about the possibility of what that could mean. The things that it could do and how it could help me and the rest of the world do things that were not possible just yet. Where we could live inside a world that was ‘just like the movies’ or like an episode of Black Mirror.

I was all in. I had to learn everything, I had to learn it now and I had to understand it quicker than everyone else. How else would I become an expert?

I also coupled that drive with wanting to know more about web3, cryptocurrency, blockchain and programming. If I was entering a whole new field of understanding, I may as well learn about the things that could be used with it.

Understanding how to use the chats, the prompts, the connections was easy. Creating images, videos and functions became part of my daily routine. I would spend my days from waking up until I went to sleep, working with at least three different AI models, creating and discussing so many different things.

Putting all my written work into formatted canon documents inside Github, creating marketing and business plans toward my billion dollar empire. Creating a plethora of tools, apps and programs just to make my life easier.

It wasn’t until the editing process of my written memoirs that I realised that I had used AI to edit and change my words so much that my entire book no longer sounded like me and became a string of perfectly formed sentences and a repeat of the most commonly used AI words. I realised then that I had given the horrific and deeply traumatic moments of my life, told from my heart, to a machine that rewrote them like they were describing the weather. I had lost the entire soul in my work.

I tried to go back to my original writing and found that over the years it had been written over so much there was no more of my personal writing left. That’s when I decided it could not continue and I deleted five years of work and over a million words of writing in one click of a button. No back up and no secret copy to go back to.

I knew that if those stories wanted to be written again, I could write them, because they would come from my memory, not from a Google doc.

With this new realisation, I discovered that every part of what I was doing was being run through AI first to ensure that it was ‘ok’. From what I was eating, what exercise I was doing, what supplements to take, what to watch, how to run my business, how to market, how to create. The parts that made me, me were lost to a machine.

It wasn’t a flip from one side of the fence to the other with AI, it was realising that I was relying on it more than I relied on myself. That’s how I knew it was a problem.

When you spend your time on social media and the feed is full of people just like you, learning about AI and discovering new ways to work with it, new processes to try and new functions, features and upgrades, you are constantly surrounded by the voices and the people talking about this one topic. This is the field.

That collective frequency that holds those opinions and ideas in place, when fully engulfed around you, just holds you in that space. And if there is no room for anything else, that is where you stay.

This happens in every part of your life. From the foods you think are healthy or bad for you to the exercise that you need to do to help you stay the healthiest or look the best. Or how you can make money quickly or what type of partner is your dream match.

_Every. Single. Part. Of. Your. Life._

Meet Tom. Tom posts three notes each day on Substack, runs at least one full article and engages with other people at least twice a day. He still has only two followers, has one or two likes a week on his notes and no one has liked an article yet. He followed whatever the creators with a large subscriber list told him that he should do. He used AI to ensure his notes were on point and his essays made structural sense. He was doing everything right, yet he felt deflated everyday and wondered whether he should continue or not because no one liked what he was putting out there.

The collective belief that there is a strategy you must follow is exactly the thing holding him there. When most of the people around him believe in that idea, and every space he spends time in repeats it back to him, that belief becomes the result he lives. If he wrote his notes as himself, wrote the article the way it came out of him, and stopped counting the likes and the subscribers, he would keep creating in his own way, and that way would find the people who connect with it.

If he no longer required an outcome to prove that it was ‘working’, it would actually start to work. That does not mean he would suddenly go viral and have a million followers. Instead his personal growth and creative expression would fine tune so much that it would be impossible for him to find any faults or sadness in what he was creating.

He may have started with the idea to make money or become famous, but instead he would find something so much more valuable.

The reality we live in can be narrowed down to how it is built.

Experience → Interpretation → Story → Thought → Emotion → Belief → Conviction → Identity → Behaviour → Habit → Results → Perceived Reality

If you read it backwards, you will be able to trace exactly the moment an interpretation took hold.

Each one of these steps is an entry for the field around you to enhance or deny whatever you are holding. That does not mean that it is bad for you, it means you need to find your own awareness to ensure that the grids that you want surround you.

I cannot fully accept an idea simply because somebody else believes in it. I need to enter its field and experience it for myself. I need to see what it creates within me and how it changes the reality around me.

Every idea carries a vibration. When enough attention, emotion or expectation gathers around it, that vibration develops structure. It becomes an energetic grid which is the network of meaning that we can enter, reinforce, or leave.

These grids exist everywhere. There are grids around money, spirituality, productivity, beauty and even your identity. Every system of thought creates its own field of awareness. Each has its own language and promises mixed with its own fears and emotional frequency.

When we give a grid our attention, we begin to vibrate with it.

Its beliefs cross into our own. Its language enters our thoughts. Its expectations influence what we notice, what we desire, and what we believe is possible. Over time, these intersecting grids become part of our vibrational substance. They help form the frequency through which we interpret the world around us.

We are not only skin and bone bodies moving through physical space. At a deeper level, we are constantly exchanging information, attention, emotion, and energy within our own environment. Everything we constantly engage with leaves some sort of an energetic impression. And becomes another line inside the grid of our consciousness.

Imagine the images of Earth or the universe drawn as lines connected by points. Lines cross other lines, and where enough of them meet, a three dimensional structure appears. Our consciousness works similarly. Beliefs, memories, lived moments, relationships, and ideas intersect until they create the structure we experience as “me.”

Some of those lines were chosen. Some were inherited. Some have been present for so long that we mistake them for our own.

The question is not whether we should avoid every outside influence. The question is whether we can recognise what we are connected to, feel how it affects our frequency, and choose our relationship with it consciously.

Can I step outside this grid without losing myself?

Can I feel its pull without automatically obeying it?

Can I use what it offers without allowing it to define me?

When I made that very first decision to want to be a better person, I surrounded myself with people who I thought were where I wanted to be. I filled my social media only with people who were trying to better themselves, who were teaching it or living it or on their way to become it. I made sure that I was not using any of my time and energy being sucked up by people who were living the opposite to what I wanted. And this environment helped me achieve and do so much that I don’t think I would have been able to do alone.

But once I became reliant on this support and wanted to become those people instead, it became inherently unproductive and less expansive. This was only because I did not yet have the skills needed to be able to believe in myself enough, so I had to borrow theirs. Eventually my physical life experience forced me into an isolation where I had no choice but to only rely on what I thought I knew.

Take the support, the field, the people away and what is left? You and the voices in your head.

A lot of things that I thought I had believed in slowly faded away after time as they were not being reinforced continually from outside stimulation. I found myself trying to recreate ideas on paper trying to make them fit or become concrete. Eventually as most things faded away I was left with what I thought were only the remnants of what I actually believed.

These became the foundation to my own beliefs. They are not for anyone else to adopt or blindly follow. They are what let me realise that none of it was ever about who I am, why am I here, what the meaning of life is.

But how to exist in this reality that I have created, in the best way I can.

How I can use my lived experience to help others. How can I find peace inside every moment. I answer those by listening to my own thoughts and my own body.

This is life without a world full of energetic attachments. I still succumb to collective ideas and thoughts, but I live through them, feel them and then make an informed decision based on my own perception. I do this across all aspects of my life.

I can try new fads or ideas in health, then I reflect on what worked, what didn’t and how much I truly believed in it.

I will opt into new tech or marketing and see how they make me feel. I will listen to anyone with a new or different perspective on any topic I have an interest in.

The difference is now I can see all this as an opportunity for an experience. And that’s it. It’s no longer a solution to a problem I thought I once had.

An idea enters me. I live it, think about it, question it, reflect on it, and eventually release it. Once it has taken form, it stops circling inside my mind. Its cycle is complete.

It’s a catch and release system for consciousness.

If you look at where you are being held by a conscious or unconscious decision, you will be able to start to dismantle the hold that it has on you.

Start with one area. Open your social feed and use it to notice where you agree and disagree with what you see. Feel it in your body. You will have a reaction to most things, good or bad or indifferent. Once you notice something, look where or how you came to believe that. _Where did that opinion or thought come from._ _Do you still want to hold onto it._ Once you start doing this, it will eventually become part of who you are and you won’t be able to exist in any other way.

You will stop performing for others. You will stop feeling lack when you don’t get the results that you expected. You will no longer mistake someone else’s fear for your own.

Instead, you will become who you have ultimately always wanted to be. Without any applause and without celebration.
