I am kind of a manager of 2 designers. The “kind of” part is they are both older and have more experience in the space than me. But because my manager thinks my “organizational skills” is better, so he assigns some management work to me.

My latest assignment is to put together a Q3 report, things like how we improved the UI with what method, our learnings and challenges. So I created a google doc, drafted up some headings, and invited them for a meeting to discuss it. It was last week.

In the meeting we all agreed we would collab the doc and review it this week. And today in the meeting I found none of them wrote down anything. Actually even me I was too busy having lunch in bed in the afternoon so nothing was really done yet.

I was mad and frustrated, we agreed to work on it and I thought they would do something. But at the same time I feel like we are on the same page. I bet they are in a quiet quitting mode too and we are an accomplice. I should value their effort in this movement.
