This new regulation, known as B35, will require biodiesel to contain 35% palm oil. from the current 30%. The move means Indonesia may have less palm oil available for export. To meet the new requirements, Indonesia will allocate 13.15 million kiloliters of palm oil-based biodiesel to be blended with gasoline next year, an increase of 19 percent from this year. The move could boost Malaysian palm oil futures prices. It is reported that Indonesia's palm oil-to-biodiesel blend ratio is the highest in the world. In contrast, Malaysia, the second-largest palm oil producer, is delaying the implementation of the B20 policy to prioritize food supplies. ## Publication Information - [ADA1](https://paragraph.com/@ada1/): Publication homepage - [All Posts](https://paragraph.com/@ada1/): More posts from this publication - [RSS Feed](https://api.paragraph.com/blogs/rss/@ada1): Subscribe to updates
