# Exorde Voting Systems

Voting Systems are a subset of the Exorde Systems, aimed at regulating the internal workings of the Exorde platform. Through them, the Exorde community will have the ability to fine-tune everything from the rewards provided by the Working Systems (with the ability to change for each Working System), to the trust scores assigned to each source of information (performed for each domain name on the Internet). Voting systems are necessary in Exorde to maintain platform neutrality and ensure that the community retains full power to shape Exorde's future.

Participation in voting systems is governed in two ways:

\- Reputation (RP): As a participant contributes to the working systems of Exorde, said participant is rewarded in EXD and RP (Reputation). Reputation is not exchangeable and indicates the participant's involvement in the Exorde environment. Some voting systems, such as changing variables related to working systems, are only available to participants with a very high level of RP, which demonstrates the participant's trust in Exorde.

\- Placing Bets: To prevent spam and malicious participants, each participant in any voting system must place an "entry fee" or bid. Unlike working systems, this bet is non-refundable. Voting Systems' stakes are much lower than those of Working Systems since their role is mainly to fight vote spam.
