The year 2023 has been a gift for the AGLD DAO and its community. Although we started off with a less-than-ideal macroeconomic situation, we never stopped creating new achievements and exploring opportunities from start to finish. As a result, we have the infrastructure in place to build a truly decentralized world, with great internal contributors and numerous partners. Thanks to our strong community-driven foundation, we were able to build on the idea of Lootverse and move forward into a new area of crypto exploration called the Autonomous World, bringing us one step closer to the future of Web3 gaming.

As we enter another year of innovation and growth, AGLD DAO is excited to share our vision and strategic roadmap for 2024. Building on the incredible accomplishments of 2023, we'll be laying more groundwork for Web3 gaming and decentralized intellectual property to blossom - and, of course, our community will be at the center of it all.

**New initiatives that stay true to our origin**

AGLD started as a fair launch community of the Loot NFT. The fair airdrop has enabled us to becomes one of the most decetralized community in the history of NFT. The community from fair launch has allows us to survive the harsh crypto winter and we are lucky enough to demonstrate how a truly decentralized community is more powerful than a centralized foundation with heavy VC bags.

2024 will be the year where we launch new products & initiatives to reward our community, in a fair and transparent way. We believe this is the best way forward.

**The AGLD Launchpad**: We want a variety of game, NFT, and token projects to meet and synergize with the Lootverse and AGLD communities. We will soon launch our own Launchpad, creating a platform to onboard projects to Lootverse and reward our communities, We are implementing a brand new model that stays true to the fair launch spirit and that can best incentivise the Lootverse.

**Launching sub-tokens for incentives**: To coincide with the launch of AGLD's Launchpad, we will be introducing a new sub-token for the community, which will serve as an incentive for the great projects that will emerge in front of the AGLD DAO community, as well as a gift to the ever-active AGLD community for their participation. This token will be utilized solely to reward the community.

**More online/offline interaction**: We'll be organizing more online sessions and offline meetups than last year to get the DAO community interacting and discovering contributors, which we hope will motivate more community members. This year, we're aiming to host meetups in more than twice as many countries as last year. Stay tuned.

**New initiatives in the Web3 gaming sector**

Over the past year of exploring the Autonomous World, Web3 gaming space, we've realized that the blockchain space itself is still small, leaving a lot to be desired. Therefore, we're going to try new ways to fill this void efficiently.

**Launching AGLD native games**: The AGLD DAO has been constantly encouraging developers to onboard over the past year through our grant program and community meetups, and we now have quite a few internal projects. We'll be rolling out these new Web3 games and projects in 2024 to bootstrap the Lootchain ecosystem and to inspire upcoming developers.

**Revolutionizing Web3 gaming with AI engines:** The number of crypto-natives is very small compared to the number of participants in the general entertainment market. As an extension of our collaboration with Gabby World last year, we will continue to experiment with leveraging AI engines to increase the utility of user content. This could be a new paradigm for expanding the experience of Web3 gaming, which still lacks participants.

**Expanding and organizing blockchain identity**: ERC-4337, the account abstraction standard, and ERC-6551, the on-chain identity standard, have been hot topics in the Ethereum camp over the past year, but we're still testing how to translate these technical developments into user experience. We'll be making the case for leveraging these technological advancements within Lootverse's ecosystem to deliver new user experiences.

**Strengthening the infrastructure**

The AGLD DAO is essentially a nest for both builders and gamers in the Lootverse, and that's only possible when we provide a solid technical infrastructure, making it easier for the users as well as developers.

**Loot Chain Upgrade**: In 2023, AGLD DAO partnered with Caldera to launch Loot Chain, a proprietary layer for the community only. Because Loot Chain is built on the OP Stack, it can benefit from the technical advancements and ecosystem expansion made by the growing OP Stack development team. Loot Chain will be updated to keep pace with developments in the OP Stack, one of the most prominent Ethereum Layer 2 frameworks.

**DA Layer Improvements**: OP Stack's inherent modular nature carries over to Loot Chain, where the Data Availability Layer is structured to be replaced by another separate module. In 2023, we worked closely with Polygon to build a fast and efficient DA Layer, but this year, Redstone, being developed by Lattice to create an autonomous world, will also support a modular DA Layer, and EigenLayer, a pioneering re-staking protocol from the Ethereum camp, will also release a DA Layer. We'll be comparing existing and emerging alternatives to ensure the fastest and most effective blockchain availability.

**Bridge V3 upgrade**: We will release the third version of our bridge technology, which aims to improve seamless interoperability and connectivity between Loot Chain and other blockchain networks. This will enable even faster asset movement than the existing ones.

**Growing the builder community**

Communities should eventually be self-sustaining. We'll be working tirelessly to develop the resources our builders need to further expand the community we have today, as well as borrowing resources from the outside world to utilize as assets for our community.

**Expanding the toolkits for developers:** Over the past year, we've begun to augment the tech stack for Loot Chain's developers by building bridges and game consoles in-house, as well as borrowing capabilities from partners like Layerzero, ARPA, and STP. In 2024, we'll accelerate our efforts to make Loot Chain the most useful testbed for Web3 game development.

**Building the Autonomous World:** While still experimental, the Autonomous World is also leading the way for Web3 gaming and the metaverse in its most community-driven form. As a leading player in the Autonomous World, we will strengthen our relationships with existing partners and reach out to more places with more interaction and channel sharing.

**Hackathons and grant programs**: We're always ready to invest in new experiments and advancements for Lootverse. In agreement with the community, we will be hosting a larger global hackathon than last year. We are also designing a more involved grant program to help individual game projects on the Loot Chain host their own mini hackathons and ideathons.

**On-chain Governance**

AGLD DAO is advancing with a new strategy to enhance efficient governance, building on the progress of the past 10 months. The transition from multi-signature operations to on-chain governance is being considered, aiming to streamline community-driven voting and decision-making processes with a more flexible and secure smart contract structure.

AGLD DAO proposes a new smart contract structure in collaboration with Llama, to safely enact actions using on-chain policies and custom execution strategies. Llama, with its rich experience in DAO construction and operation, offers open-source smart contracts and a user-friendly interface. This partnership aims to establish an environment where AGLD DAO can manage various accounts and permissions, enabling token holders and contributors to create and vote on on-chain activities.

We will have an upcoming proposal to explain everything. For a sneak peak, the strategy includes ERC20 token contract, staking contract, and a multi-tier treasury management. This structure focuses on supporting the token economy and efficiently distributing funds for developer incentives and community activities.Of course, any AGLD community member is welcome to provide feedback on this proposal, which will be decided through an official Snapshot vote after a discussion period. These changes are crucial for us to actively support Lootverse and maximize its potential.

**Looking ahead**

After a year of hard work and reflection, we've been able to grow together with our community, and there are ideas and new opportunities brewing that we weren't able to implement within the last year. In 2024, we at AGLD DAO will take on even more challenges and experiments to showcase new innovations in decentralized projects, which will in turn provide our community with rich opportunities. We invite our community to join us on this exciting journey, and let's make 2024 a milestone year for AGLD DAO and the entire Lootverse.
