We are not trees, rooted into the ground, unable to move. Movement, evolution and revolution keep humanity exploring its path into the future. That path, however, had a beginning, even if we can’t see it or its end. My beginning is in my culture, the traditions I have ingrained in me. My beginning lies in the experience of my world, of feeling the emotions it sparks, of retaining the images it creates in my memories of what it is and means to me. I begin in the art I create, leave unrooted and set free to the world. Aided by AI and all the incredible possibilities it has brought artists, I can now create new interpretations of my beginnings, of where my mind wanders when I think about who I am and where I come from. Saudi Arabia is my heartland. I am of it; it is of me. This is the core of what this collection represents — a pure, untouched, raw collection of art prompted by what it means to be me, materialised by what AI interprets that to be.
