What is self-deprecation? Putting yourself down in hopes for attention from others. Why do people want attention from others? Because taking accountability for your own issues is hard. Why is that hard? Because people do not want change, comfort is easy. Is there anything wrong with this? No, there is no right or wrong. What is the cost of self-deprecation? Running in circles, and finding no solutions. If one is okay with this, he will keep doing it.
