# Et tu, Banana?

Trying out mirror with a short blog post of mine from 2016

A year ago, I didn’t even have a proper bathroom in my place. I showered out of a gym, every single day.

I remember that night. That banana was all I had for dinner. It was a particularly shitty day. Work, life, nothing felt right. Everything seemed to be falling apart.

After gulping down the tasteless thing, I tossed it into the trash can.

And for fuck’s sake, I didn’t even make that. It felt like the last straw of the day, but I tried to think of it as just another bump on the road.

I thoughtlessly dragged myself over there and pushed the last inch to make it to its destination.

Whenever I go through tough times, I just remember the last inch.
