A summer of livin' the dream.I'm truly still in awe of everything I've experienced over the past two months. From full shifting careers, to working as a photographer at a remote mountaineering camp, to exploring the Rockies and British Columbia backcountry, to teaching my first hiking clinic with Arc'teryx, to frolicking in the desert, and back to "real life"...let's just say I'm pretty happy with my recent life choices. ^^^ not only are there beautiful clips from the mountains, but also previews of "mounTONE": wearable art with Devil x Detail!! My first ever physical, wearable art, with a concept that I'm very proud of. By combining digital photographs of some of my favourite peaks with physical watercolour, I've created a set of "mounTONE" panels that are beautifully presented on a high-quality crew neck sweater, just in time for cozy season. There are a few easter eggs in this art as well. Working at a mountaineering camp, including as a photographer, has been a dream. Then, having the flexibility to carry on to more adventures through the Rockies, as opposed to the limited time I'd have in my previous job... well, it's very special. A few images I've worked through so far:The magnificent spires and mountain range we climbed in the North Selkirks.An absolute classic view of Lake O'Hara in Yoho National Park.I think this is what "bliss" looks like.PUBLISHED IN THE CANADIAN ALPINE JOURNALThis is truly an honour. One of my favourite images ever, from one of the coolest climbs ever, from one of the best weeks of my life.
