*   Funding: Raised a $3M seed round from Delphi Digital, Quantum Leaps Capital Partners, Profluent Trading, RSE Ventures and Nascent Ventures
    
*   Product: Built by traders for traders, $79/month for a UI and $899/month for an API. Both pulling in live and historical data and loops in DeFi data too
    

**Positive Signals:**

*   Team: Greg was a trader for 8 years before starting Genesis Volatility
    
*   Investors: Lead investors being Delphi is a big positive signal, strong alignment for investor-product fit
    
*   Traction: Built a strong list of partners (Bitcom, Deribit, Ledger X, Opyn, Paradigm) and will use seed round funding to further this integration
    
*   Market: Intitutional investors are still on the rise and more money likely to continue flowing into this space, as with all crypto this is early!
    

**Risks**:

*   Traction: No real information on growth and how many customers they are able to capture - this will be one to follow
    
*   Moat: Unsure what make them defensible, will it be to win as many deals early and get API integration, but that’s probably not the best moat. Will it be additional features they add that makes it easy for traders to made decision
