**Segment:** NFT / **Business Model**: B2B / **Stage**: Seed

* * *

**Purpose**: Connecting artists directly to their fans

**Problem**: Web2 required artists to connect through a platform to reach thier fans, never fully owning the relationship. With Web3 setting up this connection is technically complicated

**Solution**: A blockchain-based ticketing platform leveraging NFTs to empower artists to distribute music to their fan. Use of distributed ledger technology enables artisls to fully control how their tickets are distributed and traded.

**Team**:

*   [Josh Katz](https://www.linkedin.com/in/joshuamkatz999/) - Founder and CEO

*   [Thomas Emmanuel](https://www.linkedin.com/in/thomasemmanuel/) - CPO

*   [Mark Losey](https://www.linkedin.com/in/marklosey/) - VP of Technology

**Traction:**

* Funding: Rasied $7M seed round and now raising as Series A

* Product: Simple to use, can buy assets with credit card (making it accessible as crypto adoption increases), no gas fees when using MATIC

**Positive Signals:**

* Funding: Ready for a Series A and likely to have heavy participation due to this number of artists on their platform and partnerships (MGM Grand)

* Adoption: Working with a lot of artist including Snoop Dogg and Jabbawockeez, and MGM Grand testing NTF ticketing with YellowHeart

* Founder: Strong music background, founder of EMG Curation that provides customer music to many brands

* Market: [Online event ticketing to be worth $60b by 2026](https://cointelegraph.com/news/showtime-nft-tickets-take-the-stage-in-2022-connecting-artists-and-fans), NFT ticketing likley to be a key part

**Risks**:

* Traditional Ticketing Platforms: Mainly Ticketmaster which is the main player here, once they adopt NFTs it will be interesting to see how YellowHeart counters this. Will TicketMaster be able to win back the artists and customers, or will they be too slow and not nimble enough?
