It is said that a name is the greatest connection to the Identity and individuality of a person. A name is an impression of the holder and as such, the name becomes what the holder becomes and may represent the concepts the holder represents. For example, the meaning of the name "Alexander" means defender of men, but because of the actions of a certain Macedonian king, that name wherever mentioned is perceived as the synonym of a great conqueror.

The name Satoshi Nakamoto has come to represent and be perceived as the originator of the cryptocurrency space, but yet the questions still persist; Who is Satoshi Nakamoto and Does this Person(s) exist?

Satoshi Nakamoto is the anonymous name used by the creator(s) of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency, now bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency, without one single centralized administration, transactions are verified through cryptography and recorded publicly on a distribution ledger known as a Blockchain. The cryptocurrency was invented in 2008 by Satoshi Nakamoto, operations of the currency began in 2009 when its workings and various implementations, was released on an open-source software. The name Satoshi Nakamoto came about because the author(s) of the Bitcoin White paper used it as a name.

To answer the existing question, does Satoshi exist, my answer is YES and this is why; Firstly, in the cryptocurrency space the release of a white paper, tells prospective clients, investors and various entities how the project was conceived and also highlights its purpose. The release of a white paper for a project, shows that behind that project there is an administrational entity. Simply put, it means that there is a person(s) behind the project and the said person(s) is drawing attention to themselves as an administrator, by virtue of the white paper.

Secondly, what is known is that Satoshi Nakamoto published a paper (white paper) in 2008 that jump-started the development of cryptocurrency. "Ex nihilo nihil fit" (Nothing comes out of Nothing), holds very true in nature and our present day reality. Occurrences, phenomenon and events don't just pop up, they stem instead from a root fact or are created simple.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrency did not just pop up, it was created and the very first information/manual (white paper) on it was how we knew of the project and its possibilities. Simply put, a person(s) created the first cryptocurrency, the Blockchain, published a manual (white paper) on it and released it to the general public. These creations stem from the fact of an organizing set factors that there is an administration behind the origin of bitcoin and administrator Satoshi Nakamoto is the originator of the cryptocurrency; bitcoin.

Thirdly, the communications of Satoshi Nakamoto and various entities and early supporters points to an existence and some of these entities like the late Hal Finney are known. So how does one that doesn't not exist communicate? How does one that doesn't exist send emails?. Software developer Gavin Andresen developed products for the bitcoin market alongside other developers and Satoshi Nakamoto. Gavin Andresen, Satoshi's effective and active assistant was quoted to have said, "if Satoshi goes rogue, then the project forks". Is this said of a non-existent entity?. In one of Satoshi's final correspondence to Mike Hearn Satoshi wrote, "I've moved on to other things, it's in good hands with Gavin and everyone".

This speaks to the presence of a community, a community that thrives. How does something or someone that doesn't or did not exist, create a thriving community? On December 12 2010 Satoshi left a last known message till date on the community forum, "There's more work to do". Whatever has an end, has a beginning, and the gap between both points speaks volumes of a said entity, when the end of evidence of the end of an entity is known, it points to the beginning and origination of said entity (e.g fossils) same is applicable here. When you take a look at the Bitcoin cryptocurrency, you notice the precision and in-depth calculated thoughts put into it, the mechanism and operating standards, How could it not have been created? How could it not have a creator and originator?

So does Satoshi exist? YES.
