Sleep is the fluctuation that relies on the cognition of absence.

In Mind OS, Nidrā (Sleep) is not a system shutdown, but a registered no-object state. It is a specific operational mode in which the system registers the absence of all other data streams (Pramāṇa, Viparyaya, Vikalpa, Smṛti).

Even when no objects are processed, the state is later registered as an experience of absence.

Think of it as a mode where absence itself becomes the content. The system is not offline. It is executing a process in which “no object” is the only parameter.

The fact that one can report “I slept” indicates that this state was recorded, not that the system ceased to function.
