let's understand what decentralization is all about? -> in simple terms, you are the owner of your own data. you don't have to rely on centralized servers/agencies. you act as an node/server and store your information and decide what to do with it. alright, then what is progressive decentralization? -> the process of achieving 'complete decentralization' is called 'progressive decentralisation'. achieving decentralization in one day is a myth (atleast for now). many claim to be decentralized application out there and yet rely on centralized servers. let's make it easier for you with a short example:: Huddle01 is 'building' a decentralized audio/video conferencing platform. we yet don't claim we're a decentralized meeting platform. we're following the progressive decentralization concept. so, how are we gonna achieve that? pretty simple, as i said earlier 'you act as an node/server. let's consider you have a good computational power and fast internet, you can act as an node/server and power your peers in the meeting room and have a seamless meeting. hence, no need to depend on centralized servers. i hope this helps you understand what 'decentralization' and 'progressive decentralization' means. drop your questions below, happy to answer. visit:: https://huddle01.com
