# ParallelChain testnet guide (L1 blockchain)

[ParallelChain](https://parallelchain.io/) is a Layer-1 blockchain that aims to create an ecosystem by combining Public and Private blockchains.

The project raised $50.3 million in investments from such funds as MH Ventures, GEM Digital and others.

I didn't find any information about the reward for completing the testnet, but given the fact that the project has raised more than $ 50 million in investment, it gives a chance that the project team can afford to reward testnet users.

> **STEP #1 - CREAT WALLET**

First of all, we need to create a wallet:

*   Go to the ParallelChain [site](https://testnet.parallelchain.io/explorer)
    
*   In the upper-right corner, create a wallet by clicking on the Create Account button

> **STEP #2 - MINT OF TEST TOKEN’S**

Now you need to get test tokens:

*   Tap on the **Faucet button**

> **STEP #3 - STAKING**

After you receive the test tokens, you will need to send them to staking:

*   Go to the **Staking tab**
    
*   We select any validator, the number of tokens that we want to assign, and send them to staking
