Hi it is me today.Andrew.Today i need to right a book review so i am going to start with the title.The title is The City Of Ember.This book is about two kids(lina and doon)In a city that is underground and is completely dark.Well I mean there are street lights ,But that is besides the point.They find a note in Lina’s room that they think is instructions to another world,But Poppy(LIna’s little sister)got to it first.By they found out poppy already chopped of almost all of the letter.Then Lina and doon finds the tunnel,But the mayor tries to stop them.Then LIna and Doon keep rowing down in a boat (they did not know what a boat is).Then they get to land and keeps on climbing a wall until…they reached the bright city.It had the moon up high the stars twinkling.Then they drop a letter down with instructions to get to where they are.That is the summary of The City Of Ember.For this story i actually rate it a 5/5.The settings are good and the story is clear.So overall this story is great.I recommended this book to ⅚ years olds because it has lots of things that can prepare them for Grade 1.It has lots of interesting facts about humanity.The target audience for this is probably kids that are a small age since adults can not really understand the story.Well that is my book review on The City Of Ember.Bye!
