So in the passage, it said that there was a single emotion. A blank stare and a look of disappointment and sadness. I think he reacts this way because he and his horse were really good friends and he couldn't imagine leaving his old friend and the only person that knew his secret.

No one ever knew he was blind because when he delivered milk his horse would always know where to go and it made it seem like he wasn't blind.

I think this story is titled a secret for two because Pierre and his horse shared a secret, the secret that he was blind.

  

Jacques walks over to poor Pierre. He knew the pain of losing someone important to your life. His whole family died of cancer. He felt sorry for Pierre. Then he noticed Pierre walking towards a wall. he started shouting at Pierre: Whoah Whoah Whoah, what are you doing Pierre?" Just walking back to my house he said in a raspy voice.: Where I will finally see my family and push back down my sorrow. : Okay okay I sense your sorrow but please don't walk into a wall, we don't need another death. Jacques said. Well okay, Sighed Pierre. He walked back to his house and was never seen ever again...
