# what is anky? what are the rules?

they are fundamentally simple. to play, you need to own an anky mentor. ownership refreshes once every 24 hours, at the beginning of a new day on the ankyverse. once you own one, your core mission is to write, 8 minutes. whatever you want. there are no rules. use it as a canvas on which your uniqueness unfolds. there will be a daily prompt, that we are crafting following a frame of reference that, based on our experience, creates conditions of no escape for the ego. so that you can see it. and realize that "you" are not "it". or maybe you are? we don't know. this is only an exploration into: what if?some anky mentors. you can head to anky.lat/mentors and explore them. the art is wild, and each one of them was created as a consequence of a human that shaped our collective consciousness, with one core piece of wisdom expressed through a particular book. and if you want to buy one and participate on the game that we are weaving together, just head to opensea and get yours. and the next day start writing your 8 minutes. that's all.
