🛠 **How to Mint APUS**
-----------------------

### ✅ **Prerequisites**

To participate in minting APUS, you’ll need one of the following:

*   **DAI or stETH** bridged from Ethereum to the **AO Mint Contract**
    
*   OR **AR** tokens to mint **AO** directly

### 🔗 **Step-by-Step Minting**

1.  **Connect your Arweave wallet** to the [APUS mint page](https://apus.network/#/mint). _Note: This must be the same wallet receiving AO yield._
    
2.  **Select your allocation** — choose what percentage of your AO yield you want to delegate to APUS (minimum 5%, no max).
    
3.  **Adjust the slider** and confirm your selection.
    
4.  **Important:** Delegating to APUS means you stop receiving AO yield and start receiving APUS tokens.
    
5.  **Click ‘Add Allocation’** and sign the message with your Arweave wallet.
    

🎉 **Done!** You’re now earning APUS.

🔄 **Adjust or Remove Allocation Anytime**

There is **no lock-up** period. To stop minting APUS:

*   Set your allocation to **0%**
    
*   Click **‘Save Changes’**
    
*   You’ll automatically revert to earning AO yield
