# Monark DAO treasury management proposal

### **Introduction**

I, Arkgetsu, am proposing myself for the position of Monark DAO Treasury manager to ensure a sustainable and strategic allocation of our assets in line with our mid-term vision.

### **Treasury management strategy**

Given the current market conditions and Monark DAO’s objective to invest in the Monad ecosystem, it is crucial to implement a treasury management strategy that preserves value over time.

### **Proposed Allocation**

To achieve this, I propose the following initial allocation across **Solana and EVM chains**:

*   **10% SOL**
    
*   **15% BTC**
    
*   **75% Stablecoins**
    

### **Strategy and Execution**

This allocation prioritizes stability while maintaining exposure to key assets. The stablecoin reserve will provide flexibility, allowing us to strategically acquire SOL and BTC during market downturns to optimize mid-term growth.

### **Farming Strategy**

To maximize yield while maintaining sustainability, the following initial strategies will be implemented:

#### **SOL Farming**

*   SOL holdings will be converted into **fragSOL** from **Fragmetric** [(@fragmetric)](https://twitter.com/fragmetric) and **kySOL** from **Kyros** [(KyrosFi)](https://x.com/KyrosFi).
    
*   These assets will then be provided as LP on **Exponent** [(@ExponentFinance)](https://twitter.com/ExponentFinance) and **RateX** [(RateX\_Dex)](https://x.com/RateX_Dex).
    

#### **BTC Farming**

*   For now, we will accumulate L-BTC on Base to leverage the farming opportunities provided by Lombard [(Lombard\_Finance)](https://x.com/Lombard_Finance), a potential Base airdrop, and potential third-party platforms.
    
*   Additionally, the accumulated LBTC may be allocated to third-party platforms such as **Pendle** or **Morpho** to further optimize yield and capital efficiency.
    

#### **Stablecoin Farming**

*   The stablecoin allocation will be diversified across multiple strategies:
    
    *   **LP Resolv USR** on **Pendle Base** [(ResolvLabs)](https://x.com/ResolvLabs).
        
    *   Lending Resolv USR on **Morpho Base**.
        
    *   **Delta-neutral farming** on **Polymarket**. [(@Polymarket)](https://twitter.com/Polymarket).
        
    *   **Hedging strategies** on **Polymarket**.
        
    *   **Stable deposits** on **Multiplifi** [(@multiplifi)](https://twitter.com/multiplifi).
        

These strategies will be adjusted over time based on risk assessments and the quality of returns generated by each approach.

### **Commitment**

As Treasury Manager, I will ensure active management and transparency by:

*   **Monitoring positions** to optimize performance and manage risks.
    
*   **Providing monthly performance reports** on yield and strategy effectiveness.
    
*   **Researching and applying new strategies** to enhance treasury growth.
    

This approach will keep Monark DAO adaptable and resilient while maximizing value for its holders.

### **Compensation Proposal**

For my role as Treasury Manager, I request a compensation of **500k $MONARK per month**, along with **8% of the monthly yield generated** by the treasury strategies. However, in the event of negative performance, this compensation will not apply, ensuring full alignment with the DAO’s financial success.
