# An evening in the Metaverse...

Join us on Sunday, February 6th at 6:00 PM EST for AN EVENING IN THE METAVERSE, an event to kick off ART3, a creative community merging traditional fine art with the ethos of web3.

Web3 is not just a movement in technology, economics, and finance. It’s also a revolution in the way that art is created, viewed, shared, and commoditized. Artists have an opportunity to guide the direction of this new space through their idealism and unique perspectives. This is Art3.

This is our first event of many. We will take a look at some artwork shared by our community members and talk about web3. If you would like to share some work or anything related to art or web3, feel free to stop by!

We will also discuss NFTs. They are on everybody's minds and we have many preconceived ideas about them, but few actually know what they are, how they work and what they can offer to traditional artists.
