But if your looking for regret that's not what you will find in my sack. Still there are lots of things it would have been helpful to know before I began my journey to become my most genuine self or at least early on in the process. I am a trans female and my name is Ashley, I hope I can help some people understand what it means to be transgender or gender non conforming a little better to break down some of the social barriers and stigmas that we may face or even embrace, and maybe even help someone understand their own identity a little more clearly. Let me start by saying that gender identity, like sexuality is a vast spectrum! And they are not necessarily tied to one another. I have found mine to be somewhat fluid and it has and changes over time as I experience new things and form new opinions and connections.
