# MELD Public Testnet Guide

### What to do?

*   First, you need to get access to the platform.
    
*   Join the MELD [Discord](https://discord.gg/melddefi).
    
*   Go to the general channel.
    
*   Type in the /access\_testnet command and enter your email.

*   Two emails will be sent to your email address. In one of them, you will find a code that will give you access to the platform.

*   Go to the [website](https://testnet.meld.com/supply-and-borrow) and enter your access code.

*   Create a new wallet.

*   Click “Login With Google”

*   Click “Next” at the bottom of the page.

*   Enter your wallet password and security question.

*   Click “Next”. You’ve created a wallet and have received some test tokens.
