# Optimism's Fifth Airdrop

Optimism has launched its fifth airdrop, distributing 10.3 million OP tokens (worth $16 million) to 54,700 Superchain users! To qualify, participants needed to interact with at least 20 contracts on the Superchain between March 15 and September 15, 2024. This airdrop rewards those who actively contributed to the Superchain ecosystem, which includes various chains like OP Mainnet and Base. Users can claim their tokens until February 13, 2025. With this round, Optimism has distributed over 265 million OP tokens so far, leaving around 550 million for future airdrops. The OP token is currently priced at $1.55.
