Starknet plans to introduce native token staking by Q4 2024 pending community approval. A StarkWare Improvement Protocol (SNIP) has been submitted to enable staking, aiming for a testnet launch soon and mainnet release later this year. The proposal includes a 21-day time-lock period for fund withdrawals. If approved, users can stake tokens or delegate to stakers, with rewards based on a proposed minting curve.
