Following this, FTX users have become targets of fraudulent withdrawal phishing emails and SIM swap attacks. While sensitive information like crypto account passwords remained unaffected, the leaked data prompted a cautionary advisory to customers about potential scammers posing as entities involved in the bankruptcy proceedings.
