It’s another week of the Optimistic Alpha ✨ἆIt was a pretty rough week but those alphas won’t stop coming. Friendtech on Base network Friend tech is a viral social dApp on Base. It’s a decentralized social media app that allows users to tokenize their friends. A scenario Imagine an influencer you’ve been looking to connect with personally, this is an opportunity for you to access them through the gated chat rooms. This is also an opportunity for content creators to earn some bucks in their pocket while intentionally offering value. Lastly, there’s an airdrop session tab in the app that hinted about a future airdrop Overall, using the app is all up to you and what you intend to use it for. 2. Extra Finance Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT). After launching on Base recently, Extra Finance announces the integration of LayerZero to launch their OFTWhat does this mean? You’ll be able to bridge your $EXTRA from Optimism to Base and vice versa without fees. 3. Clipper DEX final airdrop eligibility criteria During the week, Clipper updated their airdrop criteria after reviewing all submitted appeals Eligible criteria roles include;Community Leaders - comprises all Captains and community leaders in the Clipper community.Adventurers - this includes everyone that has participated in Clipper’s adventure campaigns.Values Champions - members who have demonstrated a commitment to Clippers’ core valuesClipper Super Users - assisting with the development of Clipper, either through testing, etc.Mainnet Liquidity Providers - This includes all LPs in Clippers’ Mainnet pool.Note that airdrop will be done to L2 participants a week after L1 claims. See the image below. 👇🏽Adventure 4 registration has also closed with 23,000 signups. The introduction and Instructions will be out on Monday, Aug 21. Rabbithole OP rewards If you have been using any Optimism-related DEXes or dApps, you might want to check rabbithole if you’ve earned yourself some OP tokens. Rabbit Hole is a platform that rewards you with tokens and NFTs for completing on-chain tasks. You can also earn points.They have daily quests, so you might want to check in daily. Connext network Token Launch Connext announced their token launch $NEXT Connext is an open-source protocol for securely moving funds and data between chains. Developers can use Connext to build cross-chain apps (xApps) - applications that interact with multiple domains (blockchains and/or rollups) simultaneously.$NEXT token will be distributed across several chains including Optimism You should be eligible if you’ve been using Connext to bridge to Optimism. Base Onchain Summer Base is on day 12 of the Onchain Summer Though some of the mints might be money-consuming, I’d implore you to do the ones you can afford to do as the tasks are just a way to bring users on-chain.
