Every minute, every new movement of the brush is a disturbing presence; every bar that doesn't follow the explicit path that I dictated slithers through, tightening its pressure and grip around my neck. I am at the mercy of the canvas I once marveled at. And yet, I truly feel alive, obsessing over every second to attempt to clench my insatiable thirst for overcoming overwhelming adversity… a path for my passion to take claim. Few share this passion for the market, for they only abide by the % change in their portfolio. Driven by primitive greed instated by a worldly desire for materialism. Few share this insight and the appreciation of the underlying derivatives driving the market. Why it works, how it works, and what it represents. For each day that the market operates, you’re betting on the success and failures of millions of individuals and billions of dollars. You're seeing the result of a collective network. In the same way, artists are passionate about the process of the art: the linework, the mixing of paint, and the stroke of the brush; I am passionate about the process and the due diligence. I am continuously improving my craft, recognizing and learning new and old techniques imposed by both classical and modern artists. I read books from physics professors, economists, traders, and psychologists, aiming to understand every layer and meaning of the painting and the perspective of the artwork through a new lens in hopes that I can observe it holistically, appreciating it for what it is, untainted
